Ayurveda places great importance on detoxification during the transitional seasons of spring and fall, and considers this the most important time to clear ama from the tissues and build ojas. In spring, as the warmer weather melts the winter freeze, the same is happening within you, making it easier for the body to eliminate ama. Cleansing in the Spring will strengthen your immunity, prevent seasonal spring allergies and prevent weight gain. Fall cleansing will support your immunity and prevent flu, colds and strengthen the digestive fire and prevent vata type challenges.

Does a reset towards health and good habits sound like something you need?

Good health begins in our gut and relies on our ability to fully metabolize the nutritional, emotional and sensory information that we ingest. When our digestive energies, known as agni’s, are healthy, we create strong tissues, eliminate waste products efficiently, and have stable mind emotions – we are naturally flowing with enthusiasm and joy! When agni is strong, we also produce a subtle essence called ojas. Ojas is our inner sap and is the basis for mental clarity, physical strength, and good immunity.  Certain foods, like trans-fats, alcohol, and sugar can lead to digestive issues, inflammation, and cancer. These foods also weaken our agni,  and creates an accumulation of toxic residue known as ama. Some indications of ama are: weight gain, allergies, congestion, headaches, fatigue, chronic pain, low energy, poor memory, brain fog, moodiness, acne, dry, itchy or inflamed skin.

Yes you can continue your daily routine, work/life schedule.

How long is the cleanse?

14 days: 7 days of pre-cleanse where you will be supported to eliminate alcohol, caffeine, sugar, meats, gluten, etc. 7 days of active cleansing where you will use your cleanse kit and consume a nourishing ayurvedic dish called kitchadi.

When should I register?

Now! Registration is open until the maxiumum number of participants has been reached.

Why is ``space limited``?

To provide the best and adequate support to all participants, we are limiting the number of registrations.

Is this a 7 day fast?

No, this is not a fast. You will feel nourished and satisfied!

What if I'm not sure I should do the cleanse?

Call us! We can answer any further questions that are not addressed here. Those who pregnant, breastfeeding, chronically ill or interested in gaining weight should not participate.

What if I can't make the group support meetings?

Change is never easy and this is a time for renewal and to create healthy habits. The group support meetings are designed specifically to support YOU!! I encourage you to make arrangements to attend as you will have better success and feel supported during this time of rejuvenation.

Where are the support group meetings held?

The Support Group Meetings will be held in our apothecary.

What do we do in the group support meetings?

CLASS ONE is designed to map out each person’s individual goals and discuss the logistics of PHASE ONE + TWO of the cleanse. In addition, we will discuss the Ayurvedic five sense therapy practices and their benefits so you can decide which therapies should be added to your daily Ayurvedic Dincharya – Ideal Daily Routine. You will pick up your cleanse kits and walk away with a daily plan of action you are comfortable with and excited about!
CLASS TWO is for support and focus and to discuss the implementation of PHASE THREE AND FOUR, Samsarjana Krama – the reintroduction of other foods into the diet, how to come off of your cleanse, and create goals for the remaining season. We will begin class with a brief meditation practice, pranayama breathing exercise and a light yoga practice. Afterwards I will help you problem solve as we check-in with our original goals and give creative support for any challenges you may have.
