Meditation has been around for thousands of years. In the west however it only increased in popularity over the last decade, and it’s no wonder why. With more research being done studies continue to show the profound effect meditating has on our wellbeing.
In this workshop we’ll explore the different styles of meditation, discuss the science behind the powerful, healing benefits, and learn how to practically apply meditation in our daily lives. Helping you to create a more balanced and peaceful state of existence. We’ll start our class with pranayama (breathwork) and finish in a guided, sound bath meditation.
Types of meditation we’ll be focusing on:
Visualization (Guided imagery)
Mantra (Metta meditation)
Warm tea will be served and a few mantras will be given for you to take home and practice on your own.
