In Sanskrit, Basti means “vessel”  – a sacred container that holds healing. This deeply restorative therapy begins with a small well of soft dough, made into a dam, that is gently placed over a specific Marma point  – vital energy centers where prana, or life force, flows.

Clients can expect to lie comfortably on a warm massage table and begin their journey with marma facial therapy, calming essential oils and guided meditation, followed the basti therapy where the well is then filled with warm, herbal oil, lovingly chosen and crafted by your practitioner to bring balance and nourishment to the area. As the oil slowly seeps into the skin and tissues, it soothes the nervous system, calms the mind, and supports deep emotional release.

Each Basti is personalized to support your unique needs – whether it’s over the heart (Hrid Basti), the low back (Kati Basti), or the knees (Janu Basti) – offering anti-inflammatory support, pain relief and a return to center.
