Client Case Study: Brittney

Brittney started as a client. Now, we carry her Ayurvedic hair oil in our apothecary!

Brittney was referred to me by another client for her digestive issues. She started with our seasonal cleanse and ended up becoming a long-term client.

When we met, she was a realtor but wanted a new career. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to do, but she knew she wanted to do something more meaningful and wanted to help others.

Her moment of clarity came after she tried her first Shirodhara.

Brittney from Vara Naturals receiving Shirodhara

Before finding Ayurveda, Brittney had worn hair extensions for over 10 years. Yet, after taking them out and receiving her first shirodhara, combined with personalized herbal support, her husband complimented her hair and she realized it had never looked thicker and healthier.

She wanted to bottle the feeling she had that day (literally!) So, last year she started Vara Naturals, a beauty brand that sells Ayurvedic Hair Oil Treatments.

We carry it in our apothecary, and we’ve been selling out of it! Plus, it’s amazing to collaborate with a client and see how happy + healthy she is living an Ayurvedic lifestyle and in harmony with her dharma.

Ayurvedic Guide: How to eat for Menopause

But first, a note on how Ayurveda thinks about Menopause. Menopause has been framed as a loss in our culture—loss of youth, fertility, vitality.
